Join us for a free Mindfulness Retreat for Parents: Placing Family Roots, where you will:
Explore self-care techniques
Connect with other parents
Discover community resources
This event takes place over 2 Saturdays, September 13 & 27.
At the first workshop, we will focus on you, the parent, and you will learn self-care techniques and tips.
At the second workshop, will incorporate your child into the activities so that you can practice and build upon what you learned in the first one.
Free daycare available for children aged 12 months-5 years old.
Spaces are limited, so book your spot today!
FAQs
Q. Do I have to attend both workshops?
A. No. If you can only make it to one, there is no problem. However, on the 27th we will be building on techniques and things that happened on the 13th. So while it is beneficial and encouraged to attend both, it is not mandatory.
Q. Do I need to bring my own food?
A. Free lunch will be provided for both you and your children. On the 27th, there will be an activity to prepare lunch with your children, if they are present.

Our Youth Drop-In Hours happen every other Friday. These sessions are for our younger community members (aged 13-19) to make use of the ECO-02 Community Space and its resources, including:

Books and manga
Study corner
Free light snacks and drinks
We’ll host the odd movie/game night and other special events from time to time, so keep your eyes peeled!

Paint Club is the perfect space for artists of all kinds—whether you're painting miniature figurines, model cars, miniature furniture, watercolors, acrylics, or anything else!
Share your skills, ask questions, and improve your technique in a welcoming and creative environment.
New to the hobby? No worries! We have materials for you to try!
This is a bilingual space, so whether you speak English or French, you're welcome to join.

The ECO-02 Community Centre will be closed all day for Labour Day.
3rd Annual High Tea
Join ECO-02 for an English afternoon tea, served with sweet and savoury selections.
Sunday, August 31st from 14H00 to 16H00 at the Salle Orphée, 1910 Rue du Centre, Jonquiére.
Adult only event
Sunday Best dress code - no jeans
This activity will be held in English
Transportation can be provided to seniors in need. Reservations are limited
Financial arrangements can be discussed
Fascinators were a delightful touch last year and will be welcomed again this year if you still have yours. Otherwise, fascinators will be available at the door for those who would like to participate.

Walking Club
Explore Saguenay’s scenic trails and get your daily steps in at our Walking Club.
This month we are walking at Le Vieux-port de Chicoutimi.
Meet us at the Boulevard du Saguenay E Parking for 10am. We will wait 15 minutes for any latecomers before starting our walk.

Walking Club
Explore Saguenay’s scenic trails and get your daily steps in at our Walking Club. This time, we’ll be walking the beautiful trail at the Musée de la Pulperie.
Meet us by the train installation in front of the museum at 10:00 AM. We’ll wait about 5 minutes for any latecomers before setting off together.
