And there’s something for everyone…
From family-friendly gardening and cooking workshops, to paint club and yoga & more. We’ve even got a kids’ Pyjama Story Time and new Youth Drop-In Hours to suit our younger community members.

Cooking Workshops
The Heart & Hearth Kitchen Collective invites English-speaking and bilingual parents to 2 hands-on workshops designed to help you cook nutritious meals and snacks without breaking the bank!
What you'll learn:
Delicious, budget-friendly family recipes
Creative ways to cook with tofu
Easy, nutritious, and affordable snack ideas
Valuable nutrition tips to support your family’s health
Bonuses:
🎁 FREE kitchen utensil set & knife sets for all participants!
👶 FREE daycare available for children under 5 during the workshops!
🛒 Plus, take home the ingredients to recreate the recipes you learn at home!
When signing up, you are registering for two workshops—one focused on cooking with tofu, and one on snacks.

Youth Drop-In Hours
Our Youth Drop-In Hours will run every other Friday, from May 2 until June 30.
These sessions are for secondary and post-secondary youth to make use of the ECO-02 Community Space and its resources, including:
Streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime)
Board games
Video game (Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch)
Books and manga
Study corner
In addition, we<ll host the odd movie night, game night, and other special events.
Free snacks and drinks will also be available.

Our first Youth Drop-In Hours kicks off on Friday, May 2, with a Dungeons & Dragons session, hosted by our director and resident dungeon-master, Brittney.
Dungeons & Dragons (aka D&D) is a collaborative storytelling game where you create a character, roll dice, and go on adventures full of mystery, monsters, and magic. You can be a brave hero, a sneaky rogue, or even a half-elf bard with a talking sword—it’s all up to you and your imagination!
So, whether you're a seasoned adventurer or totally new to tabletop role-playing games, this 'one-shot' adventure is the perfect opportunity to dive in, make new friends, and explore the world of Dungeons & Dragons—all in a chill, welcoming space.

Paint Club
Do you love to paint or want to explore a new creative hobby?
Our Paint Club meets every second Monday and is the perfect space for artists of all kinds—from painting miniature figurines and model cars to painting with watercolors and acrylics.
Come along to share your skills, improve your technique, or learn something new in a welcoming and billingual environment.
New to the hobby? No worries!
We have some materials and miniatures available for you to try, or you can bring your own!

Yoga
Relax, recharge, and connect with your community at Yoga For All, led by experienced yoga instructor and community member Lisa McKenna.

Gardening
Join us at Ferme La Rouquine for our second Intergenerational Gardening Workshop!
Whether you're new to gardening or have a green thumb already, this hands-on session will teach you the basics of starting your garden from seed.
You'll leave with your own free seed starters, gardening tips, and a deeper connection to nature.

Let’s Talk ADHD
Join us for supportive and informative meetings led by Kim Laliberté, a special care counselor at Association PANDA Saguenay - Lac-St-Jean, designed for anyone navigating the challenges of a potential ADHD diagnosis.
Let’s Talk ADHD: For Parents
This meeting is designed to support parents of children with a diagnosis or those who suspect their child might have one, helping them navigate the challenges they face.
Participants will engage in discussions about their experiences and receive valuable information to help them explore potential next steps for both themselves and their children.

This meeting is designed to support individuals who may be facing a diagnosis or suspect they might have one, helping them navigate the challenges that come with uncertainty.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their concerns and receive guidance, along with valuable information to help them explore possible next steps in their journey.

ECO-02 is an organization that offers support, assistance, and resources to English-speakers living in the region of Saguenay—Lac-St-Jean, Quebec.
We also organize a wide range of (mostly free) activities for our community members to participate in and get to know each other, like the ones you see above!
